During this session you will have the opportunity to learn how SIMATIC IT Software Management Tool (SMT) extends the effectiveness of the Technical Support Team as they support SIMATIC IT customers and partners. This Live Meeting will be an exclusive occasion to learn how SMT provides a powerful way to manage multi-site environments in enterprise manufacturing. SMT was built on top of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) technology leveraging most of the features it provides and extending them to fit SIMATIC IT customer requirements. The MES Expertise Centre had been officially presented at the “Focus Days” that took place on May 2006 in the beautiful environment of the old harbor of Genoa.

Siemens and Microsoft have been partners for more than a decade and the MES Expertise Center is not only the strengthening of this long cooperation, it is the answer to the market needs.
More than 210 participants had the opportunity to experience first-hand the joint strategy of Siemens and Microsoft attending several breakout sessions, interactive workshops, and a showcase area with live scenario demonstrations.
